About Robert Turbin

I am Robert James Turbin (born December 2, 1989) an American football running back for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). I was drafted in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft and played college football for the Utah State Aggies.

My favorite memory was in High School, 2005. We were going into the season with extremely high expectations and I was a junior at that time. We started the season 0-3 but still felt we were the better team. One of those games we lost we were winning by 3TDs and still lost. Everyone on the team was down and felt like we would be struggling all season. Our High School was not known for being a football powerhouse. However, our Head Coach, Bob Spain, never flinched and new what we were capable of as a group. His belief and confidence in us never wavered and our team fed off of that. We finished the season going undefeated and winning the school’s first conference championship and its first birth to the state title game.

God is first in my life. I apply myself each waking day with a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to go after my dreams day after day. I value my Religion, my passion for the game of football and other activities I love such as other sports, like basketball and music. The personal relationships that I have today are with people who have been influential throughout my life. As a Sagittarius, honesty is something I don’t take for granted and value deeply. Family and giving back to people who have helped me along the way is incredibly important to me. I love impacting those who may have less, giving back is who I am.
